It didn’t look like a protected left turn, the minivan was going straight through the green, the car the Tahoe driver was beeping at was just waiting to make the left after the minivan passed.

Ahh, sweet justice.
BTW: Anyone know where that took place? Looks to be Illinois plates, and I see a Happy Joe's (pizza) sign on the left towards the end, which is a local pizzeria to the Quad Cities area. I'm thinking this may not be too far from me (Davenport, IA).

Maybe one day you’ll suddenly realize that this intersection is a part of your daily commute.
I recently noticed that this happened at the exit of my school, and I didn’t recognize it until at least the 5th time I happened to see the video.

Damn! I couldn't tell, but did the guy S2000(?) have a green? At first it looked like maybe it was a yellow, so did he blow a red or did the van?

It was both. His light went yellow just before he crosses the intersection. The van blows the red after seeing the other light turn red thinking it was turning green any second there.

No one had a green, but it was the van’s fault. S2k had a yellow and went for it. He would have made it, too, for sure.
